Eurospec MPX6

Bumpable: Yes

Locking Cam: No

  • The Eurospec MPX6 is a standard spacing one star cylinder

  • There are anti bump chambers in positions 4 and 5

  • Due to this EPG success can vary depending on key bitting

  • The Lishi 6B is the perfect tool to pick these

  • The spacings line up perfectly and makes it easy to navigate

  • When you go into a false set remember to manually counter rotate to pick the spool pins

  • Remember that the pins in positions 4 and 5 although not necessarily zero cuts they will pick at an index of 3 up to 1 on your lishi

  • These can be bumped nicely

Lock ID Video

  • ERA Profit is a gold 7 gauge mortice lock with square notch levers

  • Easily identifiable by its thick curtain, horizontal hardplate and nipples either side of keyway

  • It has 7 lever heights with 1,2,3,4 being the high lifts

  • When picking we can seperate the highs and lows by running a pick wire under the front of the levers

  • If the wire sits at just under 9 o clock it is a low lift

  • If the wire site at just after 10 o clock it is a high lift

  • We can pick the high lifts first by setting them at approx 11 o clock

  • Then we can nudge the lows to get the open

  • GJ ERA Viscount pin and cam makes light work of these

  • Also very susceptible to overlifting

  • A common fault on these is the curtain wearing out
